The app looks out of date
Section titled “The app looks out of date”Placeful updates itself, and a banner offers a refresh when a new version is ready. If you suspect you are behind, open Settings and tap the version line at the bottom; it checks immediately. On a freshly installed home-screen app, close it fully and reopen it once, and the update banner takes over from there.
No sign-in code arrived
Section titled “No sign-in code arrived”The sender is hello@placefulapp.com; check spam the first time. Codes expire quickly, so request a fresh one if a few minutes have passed. See Signing in.
The capture shortcut opens the camera but nothing lands
Section titled “The capture shortcut opens the camera but nothing lands”An older copy of the shortcut is answering instead of the paired one. Delete the old shortcut in the iOS Shortcuts app, then run Pair again from Settings, under Capture shortcut.
Something else
Section titled “Something else”Write to us and include what you tapped and what you expected. Placeful is in beta, and reports like that are exactly what shapes it.
